Founded in 2016, Tetracules Press is a small press for the large-minded, a haven for works whose shapes don't fit the molds of more traditional publishing houses. Think of it as The Island of Misfit Books.
Located in Chicago, IL, Tetracules Press is an independent imprint that embodies the spirit of indie record labels like Deathwish, Brainfeeder, Southern Lord, or Neurot Recordings. The goal is to become a collective of artists whose work embodies an aesthetic otherwise unrepresented. We want to publish the Converge of fiction, the Flying Lotus of poetry, the Yob of non-fiction.
The press is edited and curated by A.V. Bach, who launched the press with his debut novel, Eisenstein's Monster, in order to establish a baseline aesthetic. Aside from a chapbook here or there, the press will publish exclusively other authors from that point on.
All of our titles--with the exception of chapbooks--are POD and available through all major retailers. As such, they can be ordered by any bookstore in America and will never run the risk of going out of print. Additionally, the printing service we use has locations around the globe, so our tiles are also available in the UK, Europe, Australia, and parts of South America.
